Given the broad platform of targets and potential antiviral drugs, it is most efficient and practical for Zirus to collaborate with the many experts in viruses and drug discovery and development. Zirus currently has collaborations/ agreements with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health/ National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIH/NIAID) BioDefense, SouthWest Foundation, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Vanderbilt University, drug discovery research organizations, and companies in the biotech industry. Zirus is actively seeking additional collaborations to maximize the chance of success and value of its platform.
