David Perryman

David Perryman is President & CEO and a founder of Zirus.

Prior to joining Zirus, David most recently was a shareholder and head of the Biotechnology Patent Practice group at Needle & Rosenberg, an IP boutique law firm. He practiced biotechnology patent law for 20 years delivering patent business strategy to biotech companies, venture capital funds, the CDC, NIH, FDA, and numerous universities. David was recognized many times as both a Super Lawyer and Legal Elite in voting by his peers. He served as special advisor to Georgia Venture Partners, a venture capital fund.

In addition to Zirus, David has founded three other biotechnology companies, one acquired by Incyte Pharmaceuticals, a second became public and a third is currently managed as a leverage virtual company. David has served on the Board of Directors to several biotechnology companies. He is married with three kids, is a baseball and soccer coach, and an avid outdoorsman. David left the practice of law to pursue his passion of helping relieve pain and suffering caused by infectious diseases in a way that is commercially rewarding for investors.
